This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to get exposure to a global business in an exciting, high growth sector and to work with senior executives with decades of multinational entrepreneurial experience. This position will be directly reporting to the Vice-President, Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Formulate marketing strategies and ensure they are executed
  • Manage IT/design resources including Graphic Designers and Programmers from Blue Umbrella’s IT team
  • Overall responsibility for developing a superior online presence for the organization in line with the company goals
  • Provide planning and leadership to improve ongoing processes to increase quantity and quality of email marketing
  • Increase presence and standing within relevant industries, through events and speaking opportunities
  • Ensure that systems are in place whereby all Sales and Marketing staff are familiar with the branding guidelines
  • Provide ad hoc support to Sales function for design of presentation materials
  • Establish systems of reports and communications for all information from the marketing team to the sales team for feedback and requests from the sales team to the marketing team
  • Report on marketing to senior management on a regular basis to review marketing efforts
  • Oversee ad hoc projects and work closely with the internal team to ensure client / Management requests are fulfilled in a timely manner


  • Bachelor's degree holder, preferably, though not necessarily, with a degree in Marketing
  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Be a self-starter who can spot new opportunities with demonstrated initiative, diligence, and attention to detail
  • Possess excellent presentation and copywriting skills
  • Be able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines and manage projects independently whilst working as part of a global team
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Have a good grasp of key software and technologies, especially those required for marketing functions
  • Must have collaborative mind set, be a team-player and be keen to share knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in learning new techniques
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada
